STEP-BY-STEP SERVED CONNECTION GUIDE - Step 2 Introduction >Tools and Supplies >Step 1 - Preparing >Step 2 - Inserting >Step 3 - Serving Inserting The Fluorocarbon Into The Braid Method 1 • Insert the cut/filed fluorocarbon end into the appropriately sized hollow splicing needle and start to work it through the hollow braid. ![]() • Thread the needle 5 feet into braid and push the needle through the wall of the braid. Pull any fluorocarbon back inside the braid that may have come out when removing the needle. THIS DOES NOT DAMAGE THE BRAID! ![]() Method 2 • Insert splicing needle 5 feet into the hollow braid in order to open it up. Push the opened up braid off the end of the splicing needle so it stays open. Do not press or apply tension to the opened up hollow braid as it will collapse again. ![]() • Push the needle through the wall of the braid remembering that this does not cause it damage. ![]() • The fluorocarbon will now easily move through the entire length of hollow braid that was just opened. ![]() Introduction >Tools and Supplies >Step 1 - Preparing >Step 2 - Inserting >Step 3 - Serving |
