UNI TO UNI KNOT CONNECTION GUIDE

Used to Tie Braided line to Fluorocarbon of Larger Diameter.

• Start by making an 6 turn uni knot with the fluorocarbon heading away from the tag end of the braid.

• Make a loop with the fluorocarbon next to the braid with the tag end heading away from the tag end of the braid (leave about a foot long tag end of fluorocarbon).

• Pass the tag end of the fluorocarbon through the loop 6 times. Make sure that the fluorocarbon wraps both around itself and the braid on every wrap.

• Cinch down the fluorocarbon uni knot by pulling on both the tag end and main line of the fluorocarbon.

• Now perform the same action but with the braided line in the opposite direction. Once again leave about a foot long tag end, but pass the braid through the loop 11 times.

• Cinch down the braided uni knot by pulling on the tag end and main line of the braid.

• Finally pull on the main line of both the braid and the fluorocarbon to snug both uni knots together.
